Creamer Withdraws From Phoenix Event
The J Golf Phoenix LPGA International lost two of its more-recognizable names when Paula Creamer and Grace Park withdrew. Park, a former Arizona State star who has struggled with back pain in recent years, pulled out after holing a bunker shot on the ninth hole.
Creamer withdrew before the round.
In keeping with tour policy, the reason for the players withdrawing wasn’t specified. Jimin Jeong, who was first alternate, took Creamer’s spot.

Has anyone heard why Paula withdrew? No one seems to know…

The LPGA doesn’t release that information so the only way we will find out is if Paula decides to let us all know. I think it is the same stomach ailment that she has been dealing with for a while. Hopefully it’s nothing serious… maybe she just felt she needed a little time off before before the Kraft Championship this week.
