Paula to Throw Out First Pitch at Phillies’ Game
Paula Creamer will throw out the first pitch before the Philadelphia Phillies’ game on July 6 game at Citizens Bank Park to help promote U.S. Women’s Open week. The 64th U.S. Women’s Open Championship begins July 9 at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Creamer, the fourth-ranked player in the world, announced the promotion on the Adopt-a-Player blog at the tournament’s official website. She also invited the third- and fourth-grade classes which have adopted her to sit with her at the game.
“I better start practicing, because I do not want to throw a grounder,” Creamer wrote.
Creamer is one of 25 players participating in the Adopt-a-Player program.

Paula-email me- I threw out the first pitch at the Cubs Game at Wrigley Field on April 15th. All the Phillies scouts are wearing Sundog plus Josh Hamilton from the Rangers and several KC Royals. I can send you the tip Scott Sanderson from the Cubs sent to me that really helped me throw a strike!
